Conversations started in 2021. Could we create the game shop we wished we had around as kids? With COVID running rampant and the economy going downhill, could we take the risk? Many conversations were had over that year, and many spaces were inspected.

Shiretown Gaming LLC started with 3 original owners. Roxanne and Pat are now the owners and Greg has moved on to other adventures. We knew the games, how to play them, and how to make them fun. The part we didn't know is if there would be a community of people willing to play with us and support our efforts.

In December of 2021, we thought we had found the perfect space. Just big enough to get us started and rooms for all the games we hoped to play. Our doors opened for the public in January 2022, and it has been great so far. In January of 2023, we realized that just playing games wasn't enough. So we moved to a bigger and better space, that also features a restaurant. As with everything in life, we are always looking for ways to make things better.
